We’ve heard this a couple of times before, quite often from people who are now our clients. The truth is that to build something like EDITED, you’d need to hire incredibly specialized people (each one costing more than an annual EDITED subscription), and you’d have to buy them state-of-the-art machines, with hundreds of servers. Even then, it’d be a couple years, and huge sums of money, before you could think about getting any insight from the data. It’s just not worth it. EDITED is a software company, it’s our first and only thing. We’re set up to do what we do, so you can focus on what you do: retailing.
