In our fifth season of teaming up with London Fashion Week The Daily, we’re back with more real-time analysis of the trends, as they’re shown. Each day of LFW, we’re providing stats around the topics getting fashion lovers and show attendees buzzing online as well as contributing three in-depth reports like the one above. The texture trend is making huge catwalk impact and we monitor where that trend has come from, how it has sold recently and where the next opportunities lie.

If you weren’t in London to pick up yesterday’s paper, you can view it online here. Meanwhile, look out for today’s copy Londoners, in it we’re analyzing androgyny.

And here’s a taster of the stats we’re contributing:

28 people wondering what Anna Wintour got up to, stuck in Newcastle.  Scouse brow perhaps?… 36 mentions of metallic leather, seen at Fyodor Golan… 30 people talking about Peter Pan collars, as shown by Bora Aksu… 73 mentions of teddy bear fur, spotted at Christopher Raeburn and Emilio De La Morena… 155 people discussing turn ups, seen on the trousers at Christopher Raeburn… 115 mentions of beanie hats at Christopher Raeburn and 13 mentions of the baseball caps at Nasir Mazhar and Fyodor Golan…   48 people talking about sweater dresses and 37 mentions bomber jackets, as seen at Christopher Raeburn… 50 people cooing over the polar bears at Christopher Raeburn… 42 people talking about leather shirts, included in Todd Lynn’s dark collection… 278 mentions of knife pleats, shown by Todd Lynn… 21 people talking about roll neck jumpers, seen at Mark Fast, Eudon Choi and Daks… 143 mentions of the wispy fringing at Mark Fast, Fydor Golan and Haizhen Wang… 6 mentions of bearskin hats following those, frankly insane, hats at Daks… 53 people talking about military coats, also at Daks…
